“So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart.” (Neh 4:6)
I love being around passionate people. There is something right and good and empowering in being surrounded by people who are motivated, engaged, and passionate about what they are doing at work.
These people believe in what they are doing, understand their part in it, and have a heart for the outcome and the journey. Their motivation tends to be external rather than a selfish ambition. The vision is more important than their personal desires. They have sacrificed to be a part of something bigger.
As followers of Christ, we are part of the salvation plan for mankind. Could there be any bigger cause? Could there be any greater task? If you have lost some passion, ask God to ignite it afresh and people will be drawn to you.
Quick Prayer: Keep me passionate in all I do, Lord. Amen.
