“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” (Luk 16:10)

We are wired to consider the large things important and the small things inconsequential. As we go about our business days at work, we focus on the important and don’t consider the mundane and small as important.

Yet in God’s economy, He calls the small things to our attention as worthy of our focus. What we consider inconsequential, He says is important. God watches and sees how we handle the small things. He says that our attitude toward the little is the attitude we ultimately will have toward the large.

There is also a sense of promotion in this word where He will entrust us with more as we are faithful in the seemingly insignificant.

Quick Prayer: Keep me faithful in the small things, Lord. Amen.
