Blessed by Association

“From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.” (Gen 39:5)

When we surrender to God in an area, something extraordinary happens: the kingdom of God is brought to bear in that area. When we surrender to Him at work and offer up to Him all that is in our authority or under our influence, He begins to bless.

We literally bring the blessings of God to all we touch through a surrendered heart and prayerful walk. Those who are around us will experience blessings though association with us.

God is with us, and He also will be with those around us and the company or workplace we minister in. Our work in the world is ministry if it is surrendered and sanctified.

Quick Prayer: Thank You that my surrender to You brings blessings to those I associate with. Amen.

Promotion

“So Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.’” (Gen 41:41)

There is a payday for those who follow God and work in His way. Joseph was gifted by God and disciplined and diligent in his execution of God’s purposes. He had a hard road to walk but then had the ultimate promotion.

He followed God’s ways and had God’s insights and wisdom. He moved well in the supernatural and in the natural. He is an example for us. It is God who exalts and God who promotes. He is interested in us fulfilling our potential. If we walk His way and work His way, we will ultimately fulfill our true calling and unlock our full potential.

Quick Prayer: You are the promoter and exalter; I surrender to You, Your timing, and Your way. Amen.
