“Therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.” (2 Chr 1:12)
Solomon made a wise choice when he asked God for wisdom and knowledge. God gave them to Solomon in abundance and then loaded him down with wealth, possessions, and honor. While these were additional gifts and ultimately had their origin in God, I believe they were an outcome of the application of the initial gifts.
When we ask for wisdom and knowledge in an area of our lives, He will give us what we need. When we take that wisdom and knowledge and actually put our hand to the plough and apply what we have received, then and only then do we reap a physical harvest.
Quick Prayer: Thank You for the myriad of gifts You have given me. Help me to work in the anointing You have blessed me with. Amen.
