“So that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’ Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” (Phi 2:15)
What does it take to shine in our generation? How do we become the example that stands out to those we employ or work with? How can we be a witness that shines a message clearly to those around us who are lost?
It is quite simple yet profound in its understatement and example. We shine by not living according to the prevailing standard but live in contrast to the society around us. We are commanded to be blameless and pure.
Can we do this is our own strength? No. We have to be reliant on Him who indwells us and can transform us. But as we live lives empowered by Him, we can be blameless and pure, and we will shine accordingly.
Quick Prayer: Help me be a witness. Amen.
