Faith based on Power.

“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

Have you seen the power of God? Have you seen Him move in a miraculous way? In our modern world, He is no less willing to move on our behalf and to demonstrate His power in support of His gospel. Will we dare to believe?

He can demonstrate this in your business, or in your workplace. When we invite Him into our organisation and ask big, we have the opportunity to see Him move in mighty ways. When we ask and see Him answer, our faith grows, and we will ask more and for more. He is not reluctant to answer our prayers at work. Why are we so reticent in asking?

When we operate in faith and have an expectant heart we will see Him move in extraordinary ways.

Quick Prayer. “I need to see your power Lord.” Amen

One Hundredfold

“Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him.” (Gen 26:12)

How do you know that the Lord has blessed you? How about receiving a hundredfold return on your capital or labor? I think that would be a good sign that God’s hand is on us at work. That is a one million–dollar return on a ten thousand–dollar investment.

If God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, He is more than able to bless you in this way. Is it presumptuous to ask Him to bless us in this way? Do we believe He is willing and able to bless us?

God wants to bless us as we move in faith and expectation to receive what He has planned for us. When we do this, our lives will bear the mark of God’s blessing.

Quick Prayer: Can I dare to ask for a hundredfold blessing? Is this Your will for me? Amen.

Expectation

“Then people go out to their work, to their labor until evening.” (Psa 104:23)

We sometimes complain about work and the stress and tiredness it can produce. Yet there is something very fulfilling about a good day’s work. When we know that we have worked hard and got a good result, it can be very rewarding and satisfying.

Whether you work physically or at a desk, regardless of your role, you can rest easy and well with a full day’s work.

I have seen people motivated by a special project to the extent they don’t want to stop. It can be a very rewarding day when we have given all to a common cause. It is God’s expectation that we commit to our work and do it all with excellence. The outcome for us is satisfaction and the reward of knowledge we are working for Him.

Quick Prayer: A full day’s work is a good and satisfying endeavor. Amen.
