“Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23)
What carries you through the dull and mundane? We all have those tasks that we don’t look forward to, the ones we tend to avoid. Yet there is a higher way, where we recognize the value of serving God in the insignificant.
It is something we need to cognitively acknowledge but shift our heart and spirit to recognize the manifest presence of God in the simplest task done with love. I think our true faith is manifest in the mundane not in the spectacular.
Quick Prayer. “Thank you that you are in the mundane.” Amen
