Christian Counsel

“If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people?” (1 Cor 6:1)

Christians are always having splits and spats with each other. It is probably not a good witness, and God is not particularly impressed with this kind of behavior. He is into unity and even commands a blessing when we dwell together in one accord.

When we have divisions and disagreements between believers, how should they be resolved? If we are in a family of faith, perhaps we should look to our own internal resources before going to court. God has placed people of wisdom in our midst who are able to help resolve issues between brothers. At least give it a chance before parading our failures before unbelievers.

Quick Prayer: Forgive me for resorting to ungodly wisdom to settle a case. Amen.
