“May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.” (Rut 2:12)

God is no man’s debtor. He sees what we do and rewards us. While what we do has no bearing on our salvation, we still reap what we sow. We do not appease Him by works, but we work out of a grateful heart for what He has already accomplished on our behalf.

There are seasons where you wonder what is going on. Where is the deliverance you have prayed for? Where is the answer to that prayer you have prayed for so long? Where is the breakthrough you have longed for?

Worrying, striving, arguing, or trying to convince God will just wear you out. Notice that the reward is given for what you have done, but the position you have is resting under His wings.

Quick Prayer: I rest in You and await Your blessing. Amen.
