What denominational position do you come from.

We do not have a denominational viewpoint. We classify ourselves as Followers of Jesus. We agree with the ‘Lausanne Covenant’ as a ‘Statement of Belief. We exist to support Christians of all denominations to be effective in the workplace. Please refer to our “We Believe” page.

What about The Church?

We strongly promote regular church attendance and being a part of a local community. Whilst we see a full expression of our Christian calling can be expressed in the marketplace, church is an important part of the Christian experience.

Are your resources available in other languages?

Currently we only have English language resources. We are currently translating Monday Matters into Mandarin Chinese. If you would like to help with any other translation work please let us know.

How can I get more involved in my local area?

We are always looking for experienced people to be Called to Business Ambassadors. If you have a passion for Christians in the workplace, we can equip you with the resources to build them up. Contact us and ask how.

Who is Mark Bilton and what is his background?

Mark is an international award winning, “Change Catalyst” with extensive public, multinational and private sector Managing Director and CEO experience. He has just completed the ‘transition to growth’ and pre-sale of Gloria Jean’s Coffees’ global business.

Mark has led transformational change in many sectors including, Electronics, Appliances, Textiles, Garments, and Coffee. He has held numerous board positions for Not For Profit, Private, Listed, Industry and ‘Leadership Development’ Organisations.

Mark has been recognized for excellence in ‘Change Management’ locally and internationally, including receiving the “Young President’s Organization’s’’ prestigious “Terry Plochman Award” for global “Best of the Best” in 2011. In January he received the Michael Page ‘2014 Retail Executive Award’.

Mark has Bachelor of Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business, and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Mark is the founder of ‘Called to Business’, a ministry that “encourages and equips Christians to be effective at work”. He is the internationally published author of ‘Monday Matters’ and the daily devotional ‘Monday Memos’.

He is married to the patient and long suffering Helen, and shares a home with three teenagers, Peta, John and Alexis; as well as a Staffordshire bull terrier and two Burmese cats.
