“Better a small serving of vegetables with love than a fattened calf with hatred.” (Proverbs 15:17)
Love, not a word we often use in a business context. Here we are talking about the price we sometimes pay to live a life with a few extras. Getting a balance in life where we know our priorities and see our responsibilities clearly can have a great impact.
We have a need to be loved and to love. Don’t let business, under the disguise of providing destroy the very people you love.
Quick Prayer. “I need balance in my life to look after those I love, and I need your help to achieve it.” Amen
I don’t know if I use the excuse of providing as an excuse…but I can use the excuse of “ministry” as an excuse. Good post…definitely said that prayer
