Where is your hope?

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.” (1 Timothy 6:17)

If the Global Financial Crisis taught us anything, it was that wealth is indeed fleeting, and uncertain, and not to be relied on for security. We need to put our hope and trust in God. It is He that is our security, He that is our salvation, He that is our protector and provider.
